Report a Merganser Brood Sighting

Tell us if you see a Merganser brood. Our Common Merganser summer relocation program depends on timely identification of broods as they appear on our lake in the summer. Broods usually begin entering the lake by the end of June and possibly through the end of August. Please go to the Higgins Lake Swimmer’s Itch Organization’s contractor, Swimmer’s Itch Solutions, LLC to report a Common Merganser brood sighting or a case of swimmer’s itch on Higgins Lake.
